Long, long ago, ancient magicks helped to form the universes of the galaxy by gathering and giving birth to their respective planets. Each world that was born this way was like a firework, bursting magicks from within to form life. It was from these bursts of energy that the remnants of magick were scattered throughout space, and eventually, enough has been created to soon condense into a single entity of pure, raw energy. This new creation, a small and pitiful thing, was no universe or planet. It was a being that began to form thoughts, emotions, and soon, a sense of identity. Born from the love of the planets giving life to their world, this entity would begin to endlessly wander the cosmos in search for just that; love.As their existence became more widespread though, traveling to each planet, greedy creatures who wished to use the ancient magicks for themselves would begin to hunt the creature down. Their trips soon turned into fleeing from planet to planet for their life. This would one day lead them to meeting another entity who traversed the universes like them, but did not care for the ancient magicks like the others. He too sought companionship, just like them. Thus, the two decided to travel together. As time passed, they became attached to one another, protecting one another from harm's way and eventually, falling deeply in love. Giving themselves a name, a purpose, a dream, Bo the Knight was born to protect Mari the Princess.One day though, in a battle to protect themselves, Bo suffered grave injuries, forcing the two to flee and seek refuge. They disappeared, far far away where no one could find them... Earth. A planet known for having many creatures of all kinds, mystical or plain, surely no one would try to capture an ancient entity such as Mari. Especially if they laid low. Unfortunately though, for Bo, Mari was a very curious creature. Wanting to learn more of Earth and it's ways, the best way to do that was by exploring the internet. Falling in love with games and idol culture, Mari would show it to Bo, eventually "streaming" it to him so that he may enjoy it alongside them. Which leads us to the present, where Mari now streams to the world as well alongside Bo, sharing their adventures with all.Sure, they should be lying low... but Mari seems to be enjoying streaming to others, and now wants to be an idol. So, Bo, the ever loyal knight, must do what his pricess desires. After all, an idol and her bodyguard is technically the modern day princess and knight.
